I’ve uploaded captures of Lauren as Stephanie, receptionist of The Soul Storage Company from 2009’s surrealist indie Cold Souls.
Lauren appears sporadically throughout the film for a mere few minutes, if even that. Regardless of Lauren’s part or lack thereof, the film is definitely worth a viewing for its refreshing script and fine performance by Paul Giamatti.

Those of you who visit the gallery often will have noticed that I’ve started to upload captures of the first two episodes of Lauren’s appearance on Fox’s family drama Party of Five.
Lauren appears as Myra Wringler in five episodes of the sixth and final season (1999). Myra’s a rebellious student who Charlie (Matthew Fox) teaches in his wood shop class.

I apologise for the poor quality of the captures, but until a DVD is officially released, this rip from a third generation VHS is the best I can do.

As previously reported, The Leisure class performed at The Bell House’s Strength Through Unity a benefit for Haiti on the 27th of Jan. The benefit which also featured Ted Leo, The Walkmen and a number of other various performers was considered a success raising over $35,000.00 for Save the Children and Partners in Health.

I have scoured the internets for media of The Leisure Class from the show and have for once come up with the goods!

A short video and outro of their performance is available to view on youtube, covering the wonderful St. Vincent:

And that’s not all! I’ve also added a batch of exquisite photos from their set. A definite must see for anyone mildly curious of Lauren’s stage presence.

No media, to my knowledge has surfaced of Lauren and The Leisure Class’ performance at Joe’s Pub last week, but apparently the group performed earlier that week on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Lion’s Den in Berkshire.

Youtube user ruralintel has thankfully shared a short but sweet video of what seemed like a charming performance! Here’s hoping more than a few sporadic live shows come from this project. It’d be downright cruel for them not to.

Tomorrow Lauren is set to take the stage with The Leisure Class at Joe’s Pub so naturally, New York Magazine online featured Lauren in the Daily Intel. A brief profile and set of 21 shortfire questions. I’ve added the piece to our press archive so you can avoid the cesspool that is NYMag’s comment section.

Which do you prefer, the old Times Square or the new Times Square?
Really, what do I know from the old Times Square? But I guess I will say old. But really old – like the thirties.
