SciFiCool have seven short clips from Sophie Barthes’ directed Cold Souls. View the clips here Lauren features in the clips titled ‘Stimulator’ and ‘Soul Storage’.
Cold Souls opens up in New York and LA on August 7. Fingers crossed it engages audiences that a wider release will follow.

The Kaufman-esque Sundance hit Cold Souls has been generating positive buzz. The film starring Paul Giamatti, David Stratham, Emily Watson and Lauren Ambrose has secured a New York and LA theatrical release date of August 7th.
The surrealist promotional one-sheet has been added to gallery, and view the HD trailer over at Apple Trailers.

To our delight, Lauren attended yet another event! This time the 2009 Chairman’s Awards Gala in New York City. Photos of Lauren looking absolutely fetching from the event have been added to the gallery.
I’ve also updated the gallery with hi-res images from all of Lauren’s 2009 appearances. Do check the ‘last uploads’ page to view them all.

The media section of the site is starting to take some semblance. Two new features are open, the audio page which will house all of Lauren’s audio interviews and icons which will serve as a hub for 100×100 sized graphics, free to use.
While still in its skeletal stage, the media section will eventually be a comprehensive stop for all Lauren related media. In due time it will feature a video vault, wallpapers as well as new additions to what already exists.

On Monday (13th April) Lauren attended the Our Time Awards Gala at the Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.
The Our Time Theatre Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an artistic home for young people who stutter. This was its seventh annual Benefit Gala continuing its tradition of honoring a person who has been an inspiration. This year the honor went to the world’s greatest” biographer and photographer, Howard L. Bingham.
As always, photos from the event have been added to the gallery. More will be uploaded in the coming days.

Lauren is featured in today’s (April 7) issue of WWD in an interview discussing her current role as Queen Marie in Exit The King
“You’re given this extreme of emotion, so you not only have license but a necessity to go as far you can,” says Ambrose, who spends the play vacillating between hysterical laughing and sobbing, all the while navigating the stage in a velvet robe with a 12-foot-long train.
The interview’s accompanying photo, which sees a beautifully fresh-faced Lauren has also been uploaded to the gallery.
